Laser light therapy has already been known in the professional world for about 20 years: The laser light promotes warming and spasmolytic effects on the tissue.

Systems single lasers (laser-pens) predominated until the end of the 90s. With this single area treatment the provided energy was often too small/low and the treatment too short to obtain objectively provable effects. Therefore the medical practitioner and biochemist Dr. Michael Weber developed between 2003 and 2005 the first multi-channel laser-system with different wavelengths and announced it worldwide. The development was supported by the ministry of economies of the government of Lower Saxony in Hannover/Gernamy in the research program of biophotonics.
